The Spruill Family of North America   

Godfrey Spruill was one of the earliest immigrants to the new Colonies and was first documented in 1684.  Godfrey and his family  immigrated sometime before 1684 from Scotland.  Some researchers believe that he is the brother of "Bass" John Spreull of Scotland.  No record has been discovered of Godfrey being born in Scotland, nor his wife Joanna or children.
