The Athlone Sproule’s since 1669 -  This account was written in August 1904 at New Bushey Herts, by Eveline Henrietta Berford Fairbrother.  Updated by James Sproule, London April 2003.  It is said that Captain John Sproule and two brothers, came to Ireland in the mid 17th Century; Captain John to Athlone, another brother to County Donnegal and another to County Tyrone.
