I am looking for copy. If you know of where I can locate one, please send me an e-mail. The Sproull family from 1283 A. D., by Gustave Anjou. Pub. 1906- Sproull section chiefly follows line of descent from Walter Sproull, who was listed on the Exchequer roll of Scotland in 1366 and recieved charters for lands from Duncan, Earl of Lennox and Malcolm, Earl of Lennox, to Henry Sproul. Henry Sproul was born in Ireland ca. 1798, the son of Charles Sproull (b. 1745). He emigrated from Glenfin, County Roscommon, Ireland, before 1832 and settled in Pennsylvania. He married Margaret Grier, sister of Robert Cooper Grier. He was a lawyer at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1869, he moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and died shortly thereafter. Includes information about other members of the Sproull/Sproul family, descendants of Walter Sproull. Family members lived in Scotland, and some immigrated to Ireland and America.
